The journey of the sacred mummies
For many years, these authentic Nazca and Inca mummies rested in the underground chambers of the Tower of Cambron-Abbey, sheltered from the passage of time in a place steeped in history, where the stones still seem to hold the memory of centuries past.
Today, their journey continues in the heart of Edenya. Situated near the jaguars’ territory, they have found a location that is far from accidental.

Why near the jaguars?
In many South American civilisations, the jaguar held profound sacred and symbolic significance. This powerful and mysterious animal was often regarded as a guardian, a being believed to move between the world of the living and that of the spirits.
Its presence was closely linked to beliefs, narratives and funerary rites. Placing these mummies near the jaguars therefore creates a symbolic dialogue between ancient cultures, their traditions, and the animal that profoundly shaped their spiritual imagination.
A meeting of memory, nature and spirituality
Facing the jaguar, these preserved remains convey far more than an archaeological account. They evoke the deep relationship ancient civilisations maintained with death, nature and sacred animals.
In Edenya, this proximity invites visitors to slow down, observe and reflect. As if, between the jaguar’s gaze and the silence of the mummies, a fragment of memory were still continuing its journey.
