A weekend to better understand and protect penguins
On the occasion of World Penguin Day, penguins will take centre stage at Pairi Daiza during the weekend of 25 and 26 April 2026.
Throughout these two days, a variety of activities will be organised to highlight these fascinating animals, as well as the challenges surrounding their conservation. An awareness stand by the Pairi Daiza Foundation will be set up in the Penguin Cave, in The Land of the Cold, where visitors can learn more about penguins, the threats they face, and how their situation is evolving. Educational information will be available, along with insights into scientific projects dedicated to their protection.
Guided tours will also be offered over the weekend, giving visitors the chance to discover even more about penguins in the company of a guide.
