The Angora goat is a very old breed originating from Kashmir and Tibet. With us, their mohair fleeces are sheared 1 to 2 times a year. The majority of the fleece is left with the shearer as compensation for the work done. Our caregivers keep just a little bit to create olfactory enrichments for our carnivorous wards, both small and large.
