The two females, born on 17 March and 20 April, have been named Zhenzhen, a name associated with the sweetness and brightness of a pearl, and Xi Le, which evokes joy and simple happiness. These names were chosen following more than 8,600 votes cast by our visitors on social media.

These births represent an important step for the conservation of this rare species and reflect the work carried out by Pairi Daiza with its Chinese partners.
