Pairi Daiza celebrates Christmas Time

Pairi Daiza invites you to celebrate Christmas Time in the Best Zoo in Europe. Enjoy an enchanting and magical atmosphere where luminous animals coexist with the park’s 7,500 animals. Giant decorations, light installations, animatronic animals, a fairy-tale dome, kilometers of garlands, over one million LEDs, and unique video mappings will bring the Garden to life for the joy of both young and old.

Christmas Time arrives in The Enchanted Kingdom of Animals

Christmas Time at Pairi Daiza is back! From November 30 to January 4, 2025, Pairi Daiza, adorned with its finest Christmas lights and decorations, will immerse you in a magical atmosphere, blending enchantment and wonder amidst fairy-tale settings. A whole month of festivities will envelop you in the spirit of Christmas. A creative and marvelous Christmas Time featuring luminous animals, automated orchestras, 4 video mappings, and a magical dome. The celebrations promise to be unforgettable!

Christmas Time in a few figures :

35 days of festive lighting, including 11 evening openings until 8 p.m.
4 new illuminated Worlds: The Kingdom of Ganesha, The Land of Origins, The Islands of the Rising Sun, and the Mini-Farm.
Kilometers of light garlands: over one million LEDs (370,000 for garlands, 430,000 for animal sculptures, 240,000 for other decorations).
1 illuminated tunnel over 60 meters long.
6 mechanical orchestras with 30 animals moving inside transparent snow globes.
Dozens of Christmas concerts outdoors and in the Dome, with animation and live music until 7:30 p.m.
4 video mappings, including 2 displayed on a giant 50m water screen and one displayed in the Dôme.

Dates to remember:

Starting Saturday, November 30, the lights and decorations will be in place.

Saint Nicholas will be strolling through the Park to meet you on Saturday, 30/11, Sunday, 01/12, and Friday, 6/12.

All festivities, video mappings, the dome, and orchestras will take place from December 21 to January 4.

Not to forget, Santa Claus will, of course, be present to join in the celebrations on December 21, 22, 23, and 24.

Luminous animals

This year, the park transforms into a true enchanted kingdom with 70 luminous animals that will delight both young and old. These carefully crafted light creations will be scattered throughout the park, inviting visitors on a magical walk. Among these wonders, discover 20 new species that join this fantastic collection, adding a touch of sparkle and novelty to the experience.

And that’s not all! Prepare to be dazzled by 5 giant animals, majestically illuminated, that will dominate the landscape and delight photography enthusiasts. These impressive figures are set to become the stars of the season, embodying the magic and grandeur of this unique event.

The animals are celebrating too

Of course, in the Best Zoo in Europe, the 7,500 animals will also be celebrating throughout the Christmas period. They will have their own special program. Our caretakers will prepare Christmas-themed meals and enrichments for them. Come and share these special moments with the tamarins, elephants, lemurs, gorillas, lions, meerkats, and many more!

Delicious Dishes

A day at Pairi Daiza is also a gastronomic journey full of varied flavors. The Chef of Pairi Daiza will offer themed dishes and menus. Whether inspired by our grandmothers’ delicious recipes or reimagined for the occasion, these treats will delight all palates, whether you prefer them sweet or savory.
