Born last June, the young male has already grown a great deal under the watchful eyes of the keepers and visitors. From his first hesitant steps to the more confident stride he has today, everyone has been able to watch him grow and change over the months.

In two months’ time, it will be his cousin Maximus’s turn to celebrate his first birthday. The two young elephants, now inseparable, share many moments of play and bonding as they romp through the grass, spray each other with water and play-fight like true companions.
