Primate
The Drill
Drills usually live in groups of 15 to 75 individuals. Males are about twice as large as females. To ease tensions between group members, drills smile and show their teeth. Due to a higher density of blood vessels, their lower lip is red, as is the skin of their rump. The males’ genital organs may also display bluish hues.
