We protect habitats for their conservation and their rehabilitation with a view to natural recolonisation of species
Why?
- Many ecosystems are under threat from human activities. We are convinced that it is our responsibility to give our protection to environments that have been undermined by the impact of human activities.
- By protecting the habitat of a particularly endangered species, we are actually helping an entire ecosystem. The mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish that we know well live in constant interaction with insects, plants and microorganisms.
- In addition to their essential role for the survival of animal species, these habitats also have a very important ecological value. Climate regulation, renewal and well-being or the supply of wood and of molecules with pharmaceutical applications: the benefits are numerous, varied and are measured on a global scale.
How?
- To ensure long-term success and the acceptance of our projects by local populations, we carry out each project in partnership with the local communities in order to raise their awareness and to ensure that there are positive economic benefits for them.
- We select our projects on the basis of o The benefits that they can bring to ecosystems; o Their impact on existing environments; o The opportunities for recolonisation by endangered indigenous species; o Their human and financial costs.
Our ongoing projects
