The Penguin House
Penguins for neighbours
True curiosities in the world of birds, they are adored by children. Our large ice floe is home to king penguins, penguins and rockhoppers.
Curious and adorable penguins
The penguin rooms will plunge you into the world of the Antarctic explorers who salvaged as many materials and objects as possible from their sailing ship trapped in the ice to create this very special place.
Two types of accommodation are available for you to observe these fantastic animals:
- Family room with face-to-face view
- Double room with bird’s eye view
Included services :
- Park access, from your day of arrival to your departure day (from 9:00 a.m.)
- Room access, from 3:00 p.m. on your day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. on your departure day
- Luggage handling upon arrival and on your departure
- Free parking reserved for Resort residents
- Free Wi-Fi throughout your stay
- Access to several Worlds even outside Pairi Daiza’s opening hours (by following the designated access path).
- Breakfast buffet for the whole family
- Evening meal (3 courses) served as a buffet or at the table depending on the restaurant chosen (drinks not included – water available)
- Courtesy tray (tea and coffee)
- Board games available (upon request at the hotel reception)

The mix of stone and red-tinted marine wood, together with compasses, oil lamps, ropes and old nautical charts, will plunge you into a unique maritime atmosphere!
In the family bedroom, a double bunk bed with a maritime feel will captivate you, as will its underwater view of the penguins swimming.
The bathroom has a very mineral feel, warmed by the red colour of the marine wood and the golden brass accessories.
Please note: penguins are very sensitive to artificial light (lamps, televisions, mobile phones, etc.) from their homes. For their well-being, and between sunset and sunrise, these sources of light must be hidden by the curtains in the accommodation.

Accommodation is located directly in the heart of the world The Land of the Cold.
The Land of the Cold world is accessible 24 hours a day for resort residents.
The park is accessible from 9am (one hour exclusively before the arrival of day visitors) until the park closes.
