Christmas Time at Pairi Daiza

At nightfall, Pairi Daiza transforms into a magical world inhabited by 106 illuminated animals that guide your walk. This year, the Garden welcomes 36 new creations, some life-sized, others larger than life, creating a spectacular and enchanting effect.

From majestic birds to mythical creatures, each illuminated animal is carefully designed to amaze both young and old and bring winter to life. An enchanted stroll where light and nature come together.

From 13 December onwards, a charming illuminated train travels through Pairi Daiza, bringing the magic of Christmas to the heart of the Park. Comprising a sparkling locomotive, two colourful carriages, and a final carriage filled with gifts, it winds through the Garden’s worlds, offering visitors a magical experience. And when Santa Claus is at Pairi Daiza, he himself takes the controls of the train—a joyful and unforgettable encounter, perfect for both young and old.

From 20 December onwards, the Land of the Cold welcomes its Christmas Market, set in the square surrounded by polar bears and walruses. The decorations, completely renewed for the occasion, immerse visitors in a warm and sparkling winter atmosphere. Among the new décor, the chalets take the shape of large wooden cable cars, where visitors can enjoy delicious winter treats. Between lights, spicy scents, and icy landscapes, the stroll becomes a moment of warmth and conviviality.
