Primate
The Brazza’s monkey
Unlike other primates, De Brazza’s monkeys are discreet and use few vocalisations. They are excellent swimmers, allowing them to cross rivers and exploit wet habitats. Males are larger than females and have a blue-coloured scrotum. When faced with danger, they curl up into a ball and remain motionless to avoid being noticed by predators.
