Three exceptional new residents have recently moved into the park.
We are excited to introduce Rohan, Juma, and Tamani – three young black leopards with rare elegance, who have settled in the Kingdom of Ganesha. Their arrival marks a new chapter in the history of Pairi Daiza and offers visitors the chance to admire these fascinating felines, as mysterious as they are majestic.
Their names, of Hindi origin, carry a special meaning:
- Rohan, the male, means “he who rises,” a name that conveys strength and nobility.
- Tamani symbolizes “desire,” referring to the rarity and beauty of these exceptional felines.
- Juma embodies “gentleness,” a trait reflected in her calm and observant nature.
Curious and already well-adjusted to their new environment, these three leopards are beginning to explore their territory and settle in. Their natural grace and deep black coats will undoubtedly captivate all those lucky enough to observe them.
A new adventure begins for them, and we look forward to sharing it with you!
