Donations and legacies in favour of a charitable cause benefit from an advantageous tax regime in Wallonia and Brussels, thanks in particular to duo-legs. By bequeathing your assets to both your heirs and the Foundation, and by ensuring that the bequest to the Foundation is large enough to cover costs and inheritance tax, the Foundation may even be required to pay your heirs’ inheritance tax.
