The Chinese Garden

ARCHITECTURE

In Chinese decorative art,

the representation of water and clouds in pebbles is widely used. The entire visit should preferably be barefoot so that you can see the therapeutic and very stimulating effect. This optimal effect is based on the Healing Path, which you can try later.

In front of you, a white wall preceded by a hedge of photinias,

and at the heart of it, a circular entrance that takes your eyes into a world of camellias, azaleas, catalpas and maples. It is a perfect circle and you will be the centre as soon as you decide to cross it. This geometric layout simply means that you are considered a perfect visitor worthy of tasting the harmony of the place. Come in, come in!

As soon as you cross the circle, you are somewhat surprised

The form of the passage is the application of a permanent principle of the Chinese garden: "Walker, you will not go where your eyes have landed". At first glance, it seems that the path goes straight ahead and leads you into a world of endless flowers. It is a decoy, as it curves to the right towards a first pavilion.
