La Lagune

The ocean penetrates gently into the land of Pairi Daiza and carries the knowledge and wisdom of the peoples of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas with it. Boats unload the most beautiful objects, materials and plants gather from all corners of the world here to be glorified in Pairi Daiza. The blue shrine that overflows from the heart of the Garden, the Lagoon, the home to the island of Madidi, the kingdom of the squirrel monkeys. A little further down a mysterious Maori Palisade shows the entrance to the Mura Mura Territory. The red land, where the kangaroos jump around, submerges us in the aridity of the Australian bushes. Parrots fly around happily in an explosion of colours. The emerald foliage of the tree ferns leads us to Jura, where you can watch the wallabies and cassowaries. In the heart of the Lagoon sits the majestic boat Mersus Emergo with hundreds of turtles, snakes, spiders and chameleons. To starboard sea lions lazy around as they soak up the last rays of son on the white beach, while on the port side the gibbons jump from branch to branch as they show off their acrobatic skills.
