La Cité des Immortels
Here time has stood still and China reveals all of its treasures. Everything is authentic: the temples, pavilions, the paths of gemstones, the scholarly garden, colourful varnished tiles, rocks, stones, jade, the bronze... and the fascinating red pandas, birds and alligators that await us in the largest traditional Chinese garden ever built outside China. The spectacular roof beams of the Chinese gourmet restaurant Temple des Délices" with the Court of Tea Trader and the beautiful Tea House (where the best teas from China can be enjoyed) were made by construction partners that came directly from Shanghai. Their work reflects an ancestral know-how with a touch of humility, a sense of beauty and respect for tradition. It is the beginning of a beautiful journey into the Middle Kingdom...
